I had Black Label ads that would highlight various text green and popped up a text ad as you scrolled over them and I finally decided to get rid of them as they annoyed me, too. As to the links back to previous comic pages... The last two days I didn't do them, because I was somewhat knocked down with some flu bug and PronQuest dropped from rank 195 (page 20) in the search rankings to 524 (page 52) in the search rankings (incidently after google indexed today's update PronQuest shot back up to 220). Google organic is the third largest source of traffic for PronQuest, loyal readers who have it bookmarked or type the site in directly are the number one source of traffic, followed by the ads I buy off Juicy Ads (with the ad revenue generated from the Juicy Ads on the site) and then Google, google has almost caught up to the Juicy Ads in volume and sends PronQuest approx 450 unique visitors a day. And that's free, I don't have to pay for those potential readers so I really need to continue with the current link structure, now I can change the color of the links if that might make it less annoying. :D I hear you, Scott.
