The browser hijack happened again. It is sending me to

Since this has little or no relevance to Pronquest, I’m assuming it’s not authorised by you?

Weird, I’ve yet to experience any browser jacking, just out of curiosity, what browser are you using Elfguy?

Hmmm, I searched for your problem and it looks like it might be some kind of Trojan on your computer, check out the following thread and see if that’s the same thing you’re experiencing: http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Search-engine-links-redirect-t211905.html

Interesting…it happened again to me today..tried to send me to some place but got a 404 error http://smakata.com/cg35o9ic/404.php Weird it only seems to happen when I come here. Coming here is usually my 6th or 7th stop when I first start ‘webbing’ in the morning. I’ll have to do some research I guess, that link doesn’t seem to apply to me. Thanks for it though!

I would suspect a Trojan, if it weren’t for the fact that it only happens here on this site. I keep my system’s security software up to date and run frequent scans as well.

Also, it often seems to happen when I’m dragging the scrollbar up or down to move down to read the comments or to see the lower part of the comic, since the AFF ad always covers the lower right corner when the page comes up.

Bar, that error/site redirect you got, is the same one I’ve gotten at lu.scio.us hentai my firewall/anti virus blocks it though. I just wish we could find out what the common denominator was so I can correct it, I scanned my server and it didn’t catch anything (that doesn’t mean its failproof though).

What kind of firewall are you both using, I know McAfee blocks/redirects from specific sites if they don’t pay them a “fee” to not be blocked (hence the reason I switched, half the 3D sites I bought from refused to pay the fee including the Department of Defense so McAfee wouldn’t allow you to go to them).

Hey Ebe, haven’t been able to find out much, but then haven’t done a lot of checking yet…WoW was calling me…lol Right now I am relying on Window’s firewall and my router’s firewall. I am running CA’s anti-virus and spyware software.

It strikes me from Elfguy’s post that I think I might have been moving my trackball down to get ready to scroll when it happened to me as well…I select your site from my favorites and then scroll over…will have to check that out and see if I can ‘force’ it to happen.

This is why you should use Firefox with the NoScript addon.

  9. Elfguy

I’m running Norton 360 with the Firewall turned all the way up.

  10. Baddgrrl

Windows “firewall” is virtually useless. Get the free Comodo firewall. AVG free antivirus is highly rated and, as it says, free.

    That girl just isn’t learning.

Whoah! I accessed the site with Internet Explorer and the ads are completely different than the ones Firefox gets! And the first time it got hijacked by some Jokeroo site. o_O

So, I’m going to shelve Shay for a bit and see if that fixes things.

  13. Bar

Shay isn’t it Ebe…If anything it is even worse now.

  14. Bar

Well for now, I have installed Google Chrome and going to see how that works out. Oh…one other question…is there a way to change this yellow text that is used while inputing comments? Its a tad hard on old eyes on this white background. But you are doing a killer job on the comic dude!

  15. Ebenezer Splooge

Alrighty then. Try these two sites and see if they both do the same thing or not:
