The Paladin’s Most Used Ability.
The Paladin’s Most Used Ability.
Okay, some of the fonts have been changed to protect the innocent. Actually, not all of the fonts were salvaged unscathed and comicfonts.com doesn’t allow redownloads so it was either repurchase them or find an alternate font (seeing as I purchased them during their half off sale and I just paid to have the computer fixed, alternate font it is). Now, I need to do some kind of filler for the days I missed…..

$123 USD
The donation script uses PayPal, I probably should’ve mentioned that earlier.

Welcome back! Its funny, because even WoW portrays Pallies as cowards. the new trial of champions dungeon has an alternate boss which is a pally and at the end of the fight he runs away from you, screaming enough! I yield, compliments you and then says may I run away now?

I do prefer the older fonts, You should check bittorrent for those fonts, it’s not piracy to download them if you’re a licensed user.
Also check your artist friends, if they can help you find a copy of those fonts, you retain the right to use them from your original purchase.
You can also try contacting their customer service and making a sob story about about your failed hard disk. If you’re polite and can prove your purchase, sometimes they let you redownload as an exception.
Goodluck and I’m happy to see you return.

Going to be late. Again. >_< Had to reinstall the OS again this morning, apparently the “professionals” didn’t do a thorough job.

I didn’t say it before because I’m sure you don’t need a viewer like me harping on the perils of lack of off-site backups and I’m sure your recent experience has driven this home more than anything I could say here.
There are many free “in the cloud” backup services and bunch of really good inexpensive ones.
It’s also possible that your computer problems stem not from a corrupted OS but from a intermittently failing piece of hard you haven’t yet replaced.
I myself found clock overruns when using a USB 2.0 enabled bus. All my devices were USB 1.0 (mouse, keyboard, etc.) but if I had the motherboard in USB 2.0 enabled mode they caused odd systems pauses/crashes/graphics glitches as the bus overran. Cranking it back to USB 1.0 only fixed and my system stabilized.
Good luck finding your own root cause, sometimes it’s really tricky.

Argh. Okay, I’m having to sweep my hardrive, then reinstall the OS, and all the programs. Turns out the wonderful Geek Squad at Best Buy installed a virus with the Internet Explorer files and that appears to be what’s monkeying up everything. New plan is to have everything purged, sterilized and back up and running by the end of the week. >_<
I could really use a Buy More and Nerd Herd around here.

Hey man, glad you were able to get things running again. Sucks when computers die on you.

I’m sure there are some total geeks working for Geek Squad, I just probably got them on a bad day. Anyway, this time I’ve UTTERLY wiped the harddrive and installed the OS and software myself (including the antivirus software). That’s what’s taking so long. I’m currently moving the old files into the new installations of the software and then I can work at getting back on schedule.
It’s taking awhile because I’m damn well going to double check each stage so I don’t have another downtime.
